INFO

After a 2 year wait for Onew, Key, & Minho’s military discharge, SHINee is finally BACK with their 7th full length Korean album titled “Don’t Call Me”! The release is scheduled to happen on February 22nd at 6pm KST. During their “Ringtone Live” event on January 31st, SHINee previewed their first new B-side song from the album, “Marry You”. At the event they also performed solo songs, “Good Evening” and gave obscure hints about the upcoming album. Afterwards and leading up to the album release, the members have been frequently active on their new Vlive channel constantly dropping spoilers. Teasers officially began on Feb. 5th via their social media accounts. During “The Ringtone” event, members gave Shawols a phone number to call every day where they could leave a message as well as listen to TMI/Spoilers and audio teasers of the upcoming tracks. “Don’t Call Me” will be a full length 9 track album.

What we know so far is that “Don’t Call Me” is a hip-hop/dance track that Lee Sooman is very fond of and he’s been closely working on the production for it. He originally offered it to BoA but she said she thought it would work better as a group song. For choreography, “Don’t Call Me” was choreographed by Bailey Sok (16 years old) and Kasper, a Japanese choreographer – both previously participated in the choreography for Taemin’s 2020 song “IDEA”. You can see an ongoing list of contributors here. The members said that this album is filled with 9 songs that all could have been title songs. So please look forward to its release!

SHINee is scheduled to be on MANY variety shows for this comeback. Please be sure to join the official SHINee World Fanclub on the Lysn app to keep up with their latest schedule now that their official website is closed. You can find all of the latest info there and on SHINee’s official Twitter & Vlive Channel~!
