SHINee: “The Best ~FROM NOW ON~” Album 4/18 Release~!

SHINee’s 6th Japanese album “The Best ~FROM NOW ON~” comes 1 year after their 5th album “FIVE” with a new title track “From Now On”. This new album is a compilation album (greatest hits) of their Japanese discography through the years and will contain the 2 new songs (“Every Time” & “From Now On”) performed at their recent dome tour “SHINee World 2018 THE BEST ~FROM NOW ON~” (Feb. 17-27) as well as “Tell Me Your Name” performed during the Fall “SHINee World 2017 ~FIVE~ Special Edition” dome tour (Sept. 2-24) recorded by all five members. “Every Time” & “Tell Me Your Name” will only be available on the special edition release of the album, so please purchase carefully~! ^^ On the evening of 4/18 at 7pm, an event was hosted across Japan at 5 different towers: Tokyo Tower, Sapporo TV Tower, Kobe Port Tower, Nagoya TV Tower, & Fukuoka Tower. Each tower was lit with aqua LED lights in honor of the album release. There was also a Yunika Vision live screening, National Newspaper ads in 5 regions (Tokyo, Osaka, Hokkaido, Nagoya, & Kyushu), & giant subway ads. “The Best ~FROM NOW ON~” is certified gold by RIAJ as of April 2018, selling over 100,000 copies!

Media & Awards

The day “From Now On” was released on Japanese iTunes (3/26/18), it ranked #2 on the iTunes song chart! Worldwide, the song peaked #1 in two countries (the Philippines & El Salvador) and was in the top 5 for Brunei, HKO, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Macao, Indonesia, & Malaysia. It did not have a complete worldwide release (and was not released on US iTunes). The album was #1 in 15 countries worldwide on its first day of release including Japan (4/18/18).
